Founded in April 1981, South Silk Road Group Co., Ltd. is located in Ningnan County, Sichuan Province – known as the "Hometown of Sericulture in China". The group owns 13 sericulture bases, 300,000 mu of high-quality mulberry orchards, and has partnered with 25,000 silkworm-raising households (involving 102,000 farmers).
It is a national key leading enterprise in agricultural industrialization, integrating the entire industrial chain development of mulberry, silkworm and silk, supply chain trade, and cultural tourism & health preservation. The group has 7 subsidiaries operating as independent entities, with a staff of over 1,500.
Strength of the Group
After 44 years of dedicated craftsmanship, we have built a full-chain coordinated development pattern, with a comprehensive output value reaching 1.3 billion yuan; we have established 300,000 mu of high-quality mulberry gardens, among which 84,000 mu have obtained organic certifications from China, the European Union and the United States. We produce 1,200 tons of 6A-grade organic raw silk annually, accounting for over 50% of the global market share of top-grade raw silk, and have become the preferred raw material supplier for international luxury brands such as LV and Hermès.

The group's product "South Silk Road" cocoon silk has obtained the GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certification and OEKO-TEX® international eco-textile certification, passed the ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 international triple-system certification (covering quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety management), and has won more than 10 honors including "China Famous and High-Quality Brand" and "National Quality-Leading Brand in the Silk Industry".
